Vinho Regional Ribatejo (now just 'Tejo')
This excellent range of wines is produced at Quinta do Casal Branco on the banks of the river Tagus. 
The reds are based on Castelao, which is Portugal's most planted grape variety (widely known by its nickname 'periquita'), and is excellent for blending. Imagine Gamay in all its guises in Beaujolais - from Nouveau to single village Fleurie, and you get the idea. Five different blends of red are produced.
