In five short years Tagus Creek has become the second highest selling Portuguese wine brand in the UK, behind only Mateus Rosé (STATS MR)

By combining Portuguese and International grape varieties we have been able to introduce genuine Portuguese flavours to an unfamiliar market.

Our 2005 vintage Rosé won the great value rosé award at the International Wine challenge, and we managed to cap even that by winning a gold medal in the 2007 vintage -the first time that a gold medal has been awarded to a rosé wine in the history of the competition.

Made at the prestigious and newly constructed Falua winery in the heart of the Tejo region, 40 miles up river from Lisbon, on the banks of the Tagus.  Owned by Joao Portugal Ramos, and directed by his brother-in-law Luis de Castro, a strong and efficent team have set about dynamising exports of Portuguese wines with considerable success.

The brand now sells in more than ten countries worldwide
