Jose Leitao RIP

Yesterday we said a sad farewell to Jose Leitao, a man who has been at the forefront of Portuguese wine sales in the UK over the last 40 years.  Working with D&F wines, the leading Portguese wine distributor in the UK, he was responsible for transforming the fortunes of Portuguese Wines in the UK.  Occasionally I am referred to as Mr Portugal, but I barely deserve it.  If you want to know the real Mr Portugal look no further than Jose.  He was always infectuously enthusiastic, had a ready smile and always a kind word.  He will be sadly missed.
